She is passionate about creating stories that engage audiences and evoke emotions, through her relatable and authentic characters that have true identities, voices and life choices.

nominated director with a proven track record in the young adult genre. 

Previous successes with Chrys at the helm, have been the original TV

series Counter Play (created and written by Chrys) which garnered over 1

million views and a loyal fanbase across network television and streaming

platforms like Nine Network, Amazon Prime, and BBC airing from 2018 - 

2021.

 

Since then, Chrys and her production company have had a first-look deal with Nine Network Australia.

Masterfully transitioning from TV to Film, Chrys made her feature film debut in 2021 with Madison and the Happiness Jar, a critically acclaimed feel-good film which was shot during the pandemic. Following a triumphant festival run, the movie successfully obtained distribution and premiered to five-star reviews worldwide and is often described as a; The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants meets The Kissing Booth.

Chrys directed her second feature film; the gritty, rock n roll dramedy The Rise of Billy Jones and just recently (2024) completed Zavier and the Nightkeeper; an origin story of the Magic Wars Saga, written and directed by Phillips.

Chrys has served as a judge and panelist for numerous prestigious festivals including International Business Awards: Stevie Awards, Sydney Web Film Festival and the 17th Annual Lady Filmmakers Festival.
